Bit of old news this, but only just catching up with his blog. Ben Weasel is working on new material.
OK, so you may not have a clue who he is, but he's the guy behind the legendary Screeching Weasel , producers of some of this finest punk rock ever made and the only band that could make me dumb enough to shell out £55 each for two albums on E-Bay.

If you haven't heard them, track down "Emo", read the liner notes to get the feel of where he's coming from and enjoy.

I'm just about to swap the moving magnet phono stage for my turntable for a moving coil one, which means I can now get a new cartridge.
Going for the Denon 103, which seems a sensible price for my first step up the ladder.
